A Gazette was published on the 10th instant, and; contains amongst other matters the notification that the Thames Goldfield Representation Act, 1868, passed by the Provincial Council, and reserved by the Superintendent for the signification of the Governor's pleasure thereon, has been laid before the Governor who has been pleased to assent to the same. W. jN". Searancke, Esq., has been appointed Resident Magistrate for the district of Raglan vice R. O. Stewart, Esq.
