GOLD SHIPMENTS, PER S.S. AIREDALE.
LARGE ARRIVAL OF GOLD FROM THE GOLDFUsDER BATTERY. The Bank of New Zealand shipped on Saturday morning last on board the s.s. Airedale 3 boxes of gold containing 4219 ozs 3 dwts of gold, of the value of £11,000, for transhipment on board the s.s. Kaikoura, On Friday the Union Sank of Australia shipped on board the Airedale 6,3010z5. lldwts. Sgrs., valued at £16,252. The total export of gold per Airedale, therefore, has been 10,5200z5. 14dwts. Bgrs., of the total value of £27,252; the export duty upon the whole being £1315 Is lOd. On Saturday afternoon last the p.s. Duke of Edinburgh brought up 2,0000z5. of gold from Hunt's claim, consigned to the Union Bank of Australia.
