AUCKLAND. Nsw Zealand Hhiuld Office, Friday evening. Customs Revenue.—Duties, £401 18a 6d ; light dues, 6a 6d ; arms fees, 12a.; pilotage, £17 19s; —Total, £4-20 16a. COMIIESCIAL SUMMARY. Friday evening, June 19. Thero have been several auction sales during the week, which servo to show very fuirly the present improved feeling in commercial matters. The moat important wae the s:ilo of Queen-Btreet property on the 15th instant, by Sir. Stannus Jones. The property is unquestionably one of the finest business sites in Auckland, and hns a frontage of 52 feel to Queen-ntreet. It realized £G,OOO. This i 3 far more than it would have fetched txvelvo months ago, although it is lesa than half its original cost. Balee of drapery and groceries hare been well attended, and prices have been realized which should prove remunerative to imp-irters. It must ba borne in mind, however, that the capacity of our market is very limited, and with the shipments on-hand und thoeo nearly due from Kngland and Australia, we anticipate that supplies will be ample, and the prices of many artioleo will no doubt decline.

We ate glad to find that a vessel has beon laid on for London. The Kato Waters is expected from Nelron at the end of the month. The greator part of her cargo is already awaiting shipment. This vessel will be followed by others at regular intervals, and we hope that the gentlemen who have taken tho initiative in tho movement may also arrange for these vessels to return direct to Auckland, and thus destroy the monopoly which has existed for the last two rears. Freight from London is now excessive, and we hail with pleasure the prospect of a healthy rivalry in the carrying trade.

The only foreign arrival during the week hae been the Prince Alfred, which arrived on the 16th, with a miscellaneous cargo from Sydney. Tho Kato and Moa are also expected from Sydney, and a ves«el is loading at Melbourne for this port. The trade in our stnplo productions continues brisk. ?awn timber is in good demand for the Thames district, and baulk karni timber is much wanted in Melbourne, where we believe a good cargo would realize from 25s to 26s prr hundred feet. There is very little gum coming forward. Coala are scarce, and if our local supplies are not better kept up, we fear that it will again be neceseary to resort to importation. "We append our usual quotations— Bottled Beer—Prices 'for good brands continues firm at our last quotations, 12s to 13s for porter ; and 11s to 12e 6d for ale.
