stake late sown peas; gather Cape gooseberries for preserving; all seeds must be gathered as-they ripen. Sow a few stone turnips, cabbage and cauliflower for autumn planting. Leeks transplant same as celery, 2 feet by 6 inches. ■ Radish, lettuce, mustard, and cress, for a succession, sow every month.
