A BALE of town and suburban lands was lu'ld at tho Wasto Lands Ofiiee at noon, yesterday, by Mcsors. nnniuiil Cochrano and Son, when tlio follewing lots •were disposed of: —Town of Onehungd, lot 8, 1 rood upset pricu £40. at an advance of £1 to Mr. Aitken ; lots 6, 8, 16, and 17 ; lotd 14 and 15, each 2 r. 1 p , we" knocked down to Mr. Mack nt £20 10s each, being an advance of <5h on tho upeet prico; smiill lots noar the town of Onehunga—3 lota, each 1 a. 3r., upset ptico £iO, wore disposed of to Mr. Donahay at £92, £65, and £61. Village of Howick—Lot 29, 3 r. S p., was aold to Mr. T. Soddon at £5 ss, being 5s in advance of the upset prico j lot 30. 2 r. 7 p., upset prioo £5, was purchased by tho Hot. J. K. Fynes at £5 ss. Small lots noar the village of Howick —Lots3S and 39, 3r. 19 p. and 3 r. respectively offered at an upset prico of £5, were purchased by Mr. J. 0. Erwin at £5 ns ; lot (>7, Alor.ut Kden, 1 a. 2 r. 23 p., was knocked down to Mr. Aitkeu at £o ' , £11 above the upset price, Iho small lots near Orakei, iVinuera, were withdrawn—und there was no sale of tho suburban lots at funi. Of the lots at Parnell, only ono. 108, Parnell Rise, upset pried £50 was purchased by Mr. ltiehards, at £51. ; tho two lots at Xewmarket were withdrawn. The following lots at Brighton were purchased by Mr Aitken :—No. 7, 3001 iuks, upset price £10 ; No. 27, 4,10 links, upset price £50, £60 ; 28, 250 linke, up. set prieo £iO, £41 ; 29, 250 links, upeet price £4-0, £11. The lots at, Tauhoa, and Pukenui were withdrawn.
