THE CARANDINI CONCERTS.

The tenth concert of the series came off last evening at the Brunswick Hall. There raa highly fashionable audience present, and the success was none the less distinguished, considering that Madame Carandim and her daughters have been tasked very severely by the demands made upon them by the audiences to whose enjoyment they have so successfully contributed. The concert opened last evening •with the overture to " Semiramide," which was admirably rendered. "By the Lone Tomb," a duet, from the "Bride of Lammermoor," (Donizetti) was effectively rendered by Madame Carandini and Mr. Sherwin, but a much more acceptable performance by the same artistes was the well known duet from "Elisir d'Amore," Stephen Glover's " Beautiful Birds," was exquisitely vocalized by the sisters Carandini. The Canary Bird Quadrille —a duet (piano), was another performance that elicited the loudest applause. Madam Carandini sang " Molly Astore," and " Home Sweet Home," with feeling. We were glad to see a falling-off in the number of encores. Indeed it occurred to us that one of those young ladies showed veiy unmistakable signs of fatigue. The concert was all that the most fastidious could desire. The most sparkling and brilliant music was rendered with a gracefulness and ease that imparted an additional source of pleasure to the auditors.

Towards the close of the concert there was quite an ovation for the Misses Carandini. r l'he bouquets came upon them so fast that as a derniere resort one of the yotmg ladies was obliged to gather them in her skirt and escape from the stage amid cheers with a very considerable load. Certainly these fair artistes will hare no reason to find fault with the enthusiasm their accomplishments', and graces have created.
