Sis, —It was amusing to hoar the great outcry made by Captain Cooper mid other members of the Provincial Council, in thn debate last night, on Mr. Carkton's resolutions, that their speeches wore not fully reported by tlio i'res?, but Unit those of Mr. Creighton were nlwu'fl reported in " Though comparison* are odious," I do not think Captain Cooper and his frior.ds havo any rij»lit to compUin of the reporting of Mr. Creighton'e speeches, eecinjc that last night the littler stood forward as tho future " Johnson " of New Zealand, and had actually coined one w/.rd which was never heard of or spoken in any lnnguagn, and for which he vrne culled "to order.' 1 Some 11.embers have reason ti thank the Press a. greut deul, for if their apeojhea went to tho public as delivered, they would not ba as reported, but— " Bosh."—Your?, &.C., V 7.
