Elizabeth Lynch and John Wright (third offences), were each fined 20s and the costs, with 48 hours' in default, and seven days additional. BREACH OF OBTOMS MGULAIIOSS. Jamee Miller and Samuel Wield wore brousrht up, charged on the information of Hrn.-v 8e >t,t Collector of Customs for the Port of Auckland, mth. a breach of the 177 th section of tho Customs Kegnlation Act, 1858, by obstructing persons employed for the prevention of Bmutrgliny;, whereby prisoutsrs had rendered liable to iuiprinoument us therein directed. . „ Mr. Brookfield appeared on behalf ot the Crowds Mr. MacCormick f.-r tho prisoners. Mr. MaeOwnick applied to hive the prisoners admitted to bttil. The Bonch remanded the prisoners until Monday, and allowed bai ! — each prisoner in £50, and Iwo sureties each of £25. This'cbncluled the business.
