MB. AIiFBED BUCKXiAND'S WEEKLY BEPOKT. At the Haymarket, on Saturday last, hay brought 2s 9d to 3a 6d per cwt. 11l horse stock scarcely any business was transacted. At Ota huh a, on Tuesday, not many cattle were offered. There was a full supply of sheep ; for the merino eweß there was no competition ; the halfbred lambs met with a fair enquiry. The ewe lambs brought from 8s -6d to 9s 3d; wether lambs 8s Cd each ; long-woolled ewes (full mouthed) from 13s to 20s each. At Kemuera, on Thursday, young and store cattle were easier in price. Fat cattle were in short budply, and for best qualities higher rates ruled, but those of middling quality barely reached last week's rates. Sheep offered very plentifully, and prices of all descriptions are 25 per cent, lower than a fortnight since. Store merhio wetherß sold at 6s to 8s 6d; long-woolkd wethers. Us 9d; aged longwoolled ewes, 12s to 15s; aged half-bred ewes, 9s 6d each. The fat sheep pens were all full; prices were lower than last week about 2b each, making fully 5s per head during the present month. Lambs also were in full Bupply, and equally low rates ruled. Store pigs were in moderate supply and in better enquiry. MESSES. W. HTJNTEB A2TD CO.'S 'WEEKLY EEPOKT. We have to report that on Saturday last there was a fair supply of horses brought forward. Nearly all in were sold. 1 heavy draught horse and harnesß sold for £25; another heavy draught horse, £20; some good hackß realised about £7 each. Newmarket Sale, on Monday, there was about 150 head of cattle brought forward. Nearly all in sold. Dairy cowb : there was very few in the market; all in sold at prlceß from £9 7s 6d to £14. Backward springers, from £7 10b to £BKLOs. Store cattle : there "Waß a large number; all in were sold ; two-year-old steers, from £4 to £5 ss; three-year-old steers, from £6 5s to £7 10s ; yearlings, from £3 to £3 7b 6d ; weaned calves, from £1 lis to->£ 2 15s; half-year-old heifers, from £4 12s 6d to £4 17s 6d ; two-year-old heifers, from £5 to £5 7s 6d; dry cdwb, from £A 10s to £5 2b 6d each. ITat Cattle.—There was a large ntimber, all in were sold, some very fine cattle from "Wangarei fetched good prices. We should think beef sold for about 30s per lOOlbs. Sheep Market,—There were very few in the market, all in were sold, half-breds from 22b to 29s 6d; merinos, 3s 3d; lambs, from 10j to 14s each. Pig Market.—There was a large number in ; all were sold at good priceß. O tahuhu Sale.—There wore very cattle in the market. Dry cows, from £4 10s to £6 ; calves from £2 to £2 3a each.
