POLICE COURT.— Thursday.
(Before Thomas Eeckham, Esq., R.M.) DRT7XXENNESS. Samuel Wesfon, "William Payne, and William E. Eadcliffe (first offences) were fined 5s and the coete, with the usual alternative. Sweeney was brought up charged with a fifth offonce of this character. Ho denied having come before the Court as many times as stated. The Clerk of the Court eaid the record corresponded with the Police ehcet. After examination, it being found that the records in the Police Office corresponded with those in the Court, His Worship sentenced the delinquent to pay a fine of 20s and the costs, with 48 houre in default, and 7 days additional. Ct'hie was all the business.
