COMPENSATION COURT.
(Before Mr. Commissioner Beciham, S.M.) This Court eat at 2 o'clock yesterday. \ CLAIM OP AHIPENE KAIHAU. The caee of AhipeneKaihau was proceeded with. Hγ. MoCormick, instructed by Mr. O. O. Dayig, appeared for the claimant, and Mr. Boardman for the Government. Mr. Preece acted as interpreter. This wae a large claim amounting to £ , and consisted of a very large quantity of household furniture, farming implements, fishing nets and lines, pigs, 33 tons of potatoes, 28 tone of kumeraa, maize, oars, anchors, roasts, holers, coats, ehirte, Maori garment, tobacco, a fashionable coat, explained aa being made of fustian, -and 30 cinoes, valued at £1308.
