UNION STEAM SAW SASH AND DOOR COMPANY (LIMITED).

The half-yearly general meeting of the shareholders of tho above company washeld yesterday afternoon, at the office of Mr. J. T. Garlick, accountant, Queen-et., D. Nathan, iVq., in the chair, when the directors' report and balance sheet to the 31st December, 1867, were read, from which it appeared that notwithstanding the depressed state of business generally, and especially in tho building trade, tho company had made a not profit of £500 by their operations for the past half year, and it is anticipated that with a goneral improvement in business, and the opening up of tho gold-fields, further profit will bo reported at the end of June next.
