A Deut 02? Hoxob.—ln the great Fox's frolicsom days a tradesman, who held, his bill for £200, called for payment Fox said he could not then pay him. " How can that b e ?" said the creditor; "you have i now lying befor you bank notes to quite a large amount,*' '" These," replied Fox, " are for paying debts of honor." The tradesman immediately threw hisbillinto the fire. Now, sir," said he, " mine is a debt of honor which I can't oblige you to pay*" J Fox immediately settled it.
