POLICE COURT.—Monday.
(Before Thomas Beckham, Esq., E.M.) drunkenness. Bridget Hawkey, Thomas Heath, James Cleaveland, William H. Wells, Alexander Mcintosh, and William Miller, were each fined 20s and costs, or in default sentenced to 48 hours imprisonment with hard labor. THREATENING LANGUAGE. John Stevens was brought up "charged with having on Saturday the 22nd "instant, used threateningand abusivelanguage towards liichard Sarsfield, to wit that ho would take away his life whenever opportunity offered, and with having come to prosecutor's house with a knife in his hand. Ordered to enter into his own bond for the sum of £20, to keep the peace for three months. This was all the business before the Court.
