TENURE OF LAND IN IRELAND.
In tlic House of Lords on April 9, a till relating to the tenure ofland in Ireland, brought in by the Marquis of Clanricarde, tras read a second time and ordered to be referred to a select committee. One of its propositions is to abolish the power of the landlord to distrain for rent.
