LATER FROM OPOTIKI.
By tlie arrival of the cutter Whitby on Saturday last from Opotiki, we learn that up to Tuesday last there had been no news received in Opotiki regarding the missing men Biggs and Moore. An expedition went out on Monday " to scour the busli, and in the Little Opotiki Gorge, (about 18 miles from camp) they fell across a party of about 30 Hauhaus. A skirmish ensued, without any casualty on our side ; 1 Maori was shot, as he was seen to fall over the precipice.
