PAPAKURA.
RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT. , Monday, June 17. (Beforo Charles Mellsop, Esq., R.M.) [from our own corbespondbnt.] George Gould Walters, of the Globe Hotel, Papakura, was charged by Constable Campbell, on the complaint of John IXulloraii, for not havibg the lamp ovor tho door of his hotel burning from sunset till sunrise on the night of the 25th of May last, contrary to tho 30th clauso of the Licensing Act, 1803. He pleaded guilty, and was fined 10s. and costs of court. Civil Case. NAPIER V. ATIIIILL. This was a claim for £1 10s., balauco of wa^ea. Defendant, who lives at Ngaruawaliia, did not appear. In tho absence of proof of tho service of summons, the caso was adjourned to tho 4th of July next, at Quoon'a Redoubt.
