OPOTIKI.
By the arrival last evening of the Government p.s. Sturt, we are in receipt of news fivm Opotiki to Sunday'evening last, up to which time, we are sorry to say, there was no intelligence of the missing men Briggs and Moore. There is now scarcely any doubt but that they have met with an untimely end at the hands of ili6 rebels. The Sturt reports everything quiet and peaceable at all other places on the Coast.
