NAPIER SHIPPING.

(FBOM OtTE OWN COBEESPOffDENT). April 24, 2 p.m. Shipping business at this port has beon wretchedly dull since Inst I wroto on tlio 18th. Six days have '•lapsed since then, and, until to-day, there have only been two arrivals, both from places within the provinco, viz., the cutter Dolphin and ketch Hero, from Wairoa, bith on th-i 19th. To-day, at 1 p.m , the s.a. Taranaki (?), dropped anchor in the roadstead. The sailed for Canterbury on Saturday, April 20, with 75 bales wool. A " ship or barque " from S.ls. is signalled, and will doubtless prove to bo the Dunedin, from Wellington. The weather during the past week has beon very changeable. Sunday and Monday were beautiful days; yesterday ( Tuesday) it lookod very gloomy, and culminated about 2 p.m. in a thunder storm, accompanied with heavy rain, which lasted all night. It has not rained much to-day, but it is very cloudy, and rather cold, us indeed it always is wlisa ii Soueasier prevails
