Mr. G- Sibbin reports tho clearing out salo of drapery, clothing, &c., held to-day at the store of Mr. Robcrtshaw, Shortland-street, was well attended and fair prices realised. The leaso of tho premises sold at a bonus. Mr. Sibbin announces that he wi'l continue tho salo this morning, at the usual hour. To-day Mr. S. Cochrano sold the yaclit Flirt, 5 tons, with all gear belonging thereto, forjtho sum of ;t29. Owing to the inclemency of the wcathor, tho other racing boats were not offered. At. auction tho cargo of the Sarah, consisting of 4378 bags, and tho balance of tho cargoes of tho Elizabeth and Laughing Water, consisting of 1078 bags, havo been disposed of at an advanco of almost 20s. on every description over llio last, public salo. Ono thousand bags havo been disposed of privately, comprising browns, counter;-, aud crystals, at prices ranjiing from £31 to .£l2. There liuvo not been any transactions of importance in brcadstulTs. Parcels of Adelaide flour havo b'Cii sold at from £23 15s. to 1 10s., i.ccording to brand. Tasmanian flour has been quitted at £22. C en Market.—Wheat is still enquirod for, but vory liUlo is coming forward. Buyers offer 8s 9d. Flour is firm at from £21 to £22 ss, according to brand. Capo barley is 5s Cd per bushel; English do, 5s 9d ; Capo oats, 4s (3d ; and English do, 5s 9d. Hay.—Hind marsh-square, January 2nd. —Price of liuy to-day—Best whenten hay, per ton, £8 10s; good mixed do, £7 15s; do oaton do, £7. TASMANIA. Flour and wheat command most attention to-day, and for tho former millers aro demanding and getting £27 to £2S, for firsts. Tho only stocks of wheat offering were those imported by the Derwcnt, for all of which lis was readily obtained in tho early part of tho day- Excepting to parcels still in tho interior which aro held for 13s, this sido of tho island is now positively bare of further supplies. For sha'-ps tho demand continues in excess jiof the supply, and tho price is firm at £10. Bran is quoted at tho mills at Is 3d to Is 4d. Thero was a fair trade doing in wool at prices ranging from Is 2d to Is 4d for superior fleeco. Tho arrival and shipment now are proceeding with all despatch, and in a very few days the Wagoola will be ready for sea. Butter owing to tho recent rains is scarcoly so firm, and somo small sales for shipment per Derwent, were made to-day at Is sd. Cheeso continues scarce, and in demand at lOd io Is Id. A better feeling has shown itself for timbor and palings, but tho market is only of very limited extent, and scarcely sufficient to render the improvement pormanent. Wo (Adelaidc[Adverli,ner) have boon favoured with tho following trade circular by Messrs. W. Morgan and Co.:— "Mauritius, 17 th November, 18C5. " During the last few days wo havo had the following arrivals from Australia—Maid of Honor, from Syduo3 r ; Revenge, from Adelaido ; and Planter and Sarah, from Melbourne. " Although our last London mail of the 7th October, which arrived on the Bth instant, brought advices of a further ri.o of about 5s per cwt. in the homo sugar market, groy rofining sugars havo barely maintained their value hero, large sales having been mado during the last few days at prices which show a fall of a few cents on our last quotations.
