Police. —In the Police Court, yesterday, John Daly was ordered to pay a fine of for having in his possession a still for the illicit distillation of spirits. Kot being able to pay the money, he was sent to prison lor sis months. James Knsor was fined £10 and costs, for having sold ale to three privates in the officers' mess, he having no license. Four persons were vy. charged with breaches of the Police Act, and were fined, and three persona were fined for broaches of tho Impounding Act..
