Sho loft Bluff Harbour at 4 p.m.~22nd, arrivod Tort Chalmers, 8 a.m. 23rd; loft Port Chnlmcrj, 4 p.m., 25tb, arrived Lyttelton, 8 a m. 2Gth ; loft Lyttelton, 2 p m., 27th, arrived Wellington, 745 on tho 28th; was detained ■it Wellington by tho Fost-Oflico authorities, from 8 a.m till 3 p.m, on tho 29th; and arrived at Picton, 8 p.m. samo day ; loft Pioton, 8 a.m., 30th, arrived at Nelson, 5 p.m. same day. On tho 2nd December, transhipped from h.s. Kangitoto, the Auckland, Napier, ami Taranaki portion of tho English Mail, sailing at 8 p.m., and arrived at Taranaki at 12 noon ; sailed at 4 p.m, arriving at tho Manakau Heads, at 5 a.m. 4th ; and anchored off tho Bluff at 7. 30, am. (Tho Stjrin Bird was leaving tho anchor igo at Tcrnnaki,as tho Airedaloentered, tho Airodalo passing her again outsido tho Manakau Heads. Tho Airodalo brings tho English Mail from Nelson. Tho Mail, which included ono hundred boxes and several pkgs., was landed by Mr. Browor, of 11. M. Customs, and despatched to Auckland within the spaco of two h urs, which, considering tho distaneo of the steamer from tho Wharf, must bo regarded as smai t work. ARRIVAL OF THE STORM BIRD. Tho N.Z.9.N. Oo's s.s. Storm Bird, Captain Thompson, left Wellington on the 27th ult., with the Nativo Contingent on board from Opotiki, and arrived at Wangaiiui next day. Loft again on the 2nd instant, with calllo, &c, and loft ag.iin tho same day, arriving in , tho Manukau at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. Sho brings tho following passengers : —MnjorGonornl Chute, Colonel Gamble, Colonel Pitt, (apt. Minnitt (l-lth liegt), Mr. Lcithridgo, Mr. Stcno, Mr. L.iiiig, Mrs. Read, and oight in tho steerage. Tho schoonor Excelsior will probably loaro for Hokitika to-morrow or 'Thursday.
