AUCKLAND. New' Zealand llphald Office, T.iu>day evening. To-day Mr. S. Cochrane cold at Iho Coinmissnrinc stores, Princes-street, a quantity of condemned surplus stores, which realized good prices. Messrs. Harris & Turner's sale of electro-plated ware, perfumery, fancy goods, &c., h'-Ul to-day, was well attended, and very good prices were obtained. Tiie total amount of Customs Receipts for tho month ended the 31st July, was X 14,317 -Is 7d, including gold and lighthouse dues.
