ALMANACK.
We have published our book Almanack for 1844. We would make it more extensive but do not receive sufficient encouragement- We did not sell of the Almanack we £ Mished last year sufficient to pay one third of the expense of the compositors wages expended upon it.
We would call the attention of masters to vessels to this little book. We suspect they are not aware that it answers all. the purposes of a Nautical Almanack for the year. The last named is not often to be bought in this part of the world, and frequently five and twenty shillings are charged for a copy ; the price of our Almanack is one shilling.
Baptised, at St. Mary's, Catholic Chapel, Willis Street, by the Catholic Pastor, on Sunday, 7th instant, Mary Anne, daughter of William and Margaret Gill.
