Bowling Notes.

A large number of new members were initiated into the Victoria Club on Saturday, and showed good promise. The colts gave Maok a big scare in the Hamerton Badge game. At the thirteenth head they were two to the good, so "Billy" put his pipe on the bank, and took things in band, with tihe result that he bagged seven in the next head. The colts came at him again and were only three behind at the nineteenth head, but allowed the little Scotchman to get a handful on the twentieth head, thus putting the result beyond doubt — 27-22. By-the-bye, Maok lost his wipe. Two old friends, Arthur and Price, the globetrotters, tried conclusions, but it is quitei evident Price has not settled down yet — 27-14. George Snaddon completely out-olaas^ ed Braokenridge junior — 28-15 , so also Page shut down on Newson — 27-13. Redstone had a very soft thing in Lord Miramar, whose new bowls seemed very shy of the kitty — 31-14. Brackenridge and Hneston had a warm tussle, the game being in doubt right up to the veteran's 1 last shot. The score stood 19-20 with the last head to go. Jimmy lust missed carrying the jack. Result 3to Hueston— 23-19. W. Hendry is to be complimented on winning the Senior Bowls, carried over from last season. He and Kitto (J. P.) fought out the final on Wednesday, each having won a game, with the above result. Mrs. Redstone and Keith provided afternoon tea up at the Victoria green on Saturday.
