PRINCE OF WALES’ THEATRE.

L vst night the tragedy of “ Lucrezia Borgia ” was repeated at the Prince of Wales’ Theatre. There was but a thin bouse; nevertheless the acting of Miss Juno was characteristic of that lady, and brought out some of the most remarkable features of her more than excellent acting. The part she bad to sustain was one of difficulty, but she impersonated the poisoner to the end with a terrible reality that made one shudder. The other parts were also well sustained ; and Miss Corcoran deserves a word of special praise for her sweetly sung song of “ Let us be happy together,” which was rendered in most excellent style. To-night will be produced, for the first time in New Zealand, the “ Hidden Hand.”
