LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.
TO HELP PENSIONERS. (To the Editor of "The Times.") Sir—l would be glad if you would make known through the columns of your valuable paper that as I have planted all the ground that I have available, and.have still a quantity of good seed potatoes left which are just in splendid trim for planting, I am willing to give these to six people who will plant squares of ground—say, four square yards—two for. old age pensioners, two for the Salvation Army, and two for old lady pensioners. Further, if those who have the ground arc not able to do the planting, then I am prepared to plant for them. I feel we arc- neglecting our aged pensioners, and something practical ought to bo done ■for them I am, etc., • ' / . . WM. M. McKEXZIE, Trent street, Oamaru.
