' A German official wireless report says that there has been increased fighting 011 the Riga front southward of Dunaberg . (Dvinsk) and Smorgon, There has also been strong artillery activity at Bra-zany. \Ye captured the Carpathian heights eastward of the Lomnica, and repulsed counter-attacks, and forced back the Russians fiomthe Lomnica line. Artillery lighting has become more active in the Susita Valley, along the Putiiii and the Berth. A' wireless Russian official report states that there lias been intense enemy artillery tiring in the region of Potutory, southward of Brezezany and near llalicz.
