Committee, and the citizens en masse were at Slip station to'welcome the men home again] Is .it both the Oamaru jmpera had fill notices of ihe arrival of returned soldiers and that the soldiers Were told at .'virtually every send-off social: "Hearty as this social is, it is nothing to the Welcomeheme social-you will get later on"i ,Bmnour : has; it—in the coun'ry—that no one was on the station to welcome the returned men.
