Sir—l wish, through your columns, to inform Mrs Forrester, lion, secretary of the Red Cross Society, Oamarti, of the fact that she was labouring under a misapprehension when, on Monday evening last,, in the Ath'enieum Hall. Hampden, she staled that there was no official Sewing Guild for' war purposes in'Hampden. 1 beg leave to contra-dii-t, that statement, The llampdenWaiauakarua Sewing (.iiiiltl for Wimmled Soldiers has been in existence for over two years, and lias been duly ap-proved-of by the Minister Affairs under Section -10 of the War Legislation Amendment Act, l!)l(i, The Guild "is also automatically registered with the Olago and Southland-Women's Patriotic Associations, The above facts are well known to everyone in
