The hit of Clmrlie Chaplin's life was '"One A.M." to be screened at the Opera House to-day and to-night, In thin screaming farce the irresistible Charles wanders- about a strange house full of stuffed wild animals in an inebriated condition, and in the extremity of his comic terror clings convulsively to a knight in full armour for protection. In this picture Chaplin accomplishes the almost impossible for lie holds the seiven alone and with the exception of the taxi-driver who brings him home to the wrong house, and he is the only person who is seen during the whole 2000 ft, and yet' the comedy is one long laugh, There are some very fine supporting items, •
