THE IRISH PROBLEM.
EAST CLARE BY-ELECTION. (Per Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z, Cable Association) LONDON, July 12, The Sinn Feiners campaign was excellently organised. Mr De Yalera had plenty of motor-cars, speakers, and canvassers, and a large number of Roman Catholic priests, assisted, while nluch money came from America, it is believcil from a German source. Pessimists among Redmondites say that the election shows that no Nationalist's seat is now safe outside the' city of Dublin. Recent elections prove that a large number of the younger Irijlimen have revolted against the Nationalist Party machine.
