DUNTROON STOCK SALE. Thorp was a good attendance at the stock sale held at Duntroon on Wednesday, and very successful sales were made, good prices being realised all round. The quantity of stock offered was larger than usual, and mainly consisted of store sheep. The following sales were made:— Store Sheep.

Wright, Stephenson and Co. sold: On account J. Rutherford, 14 wethers at X's Oil; account W. J. Taylor, 120 ewes at 24s 9d; account W. Sutherland, 115 ewes at 27s U, 7 ewes at HL's. Ilil, :1 wethers at Ms Ifld; account 3?. A, Taylod, 14!) ewe lambs at 27s 2d; account MrsE. C. Walker, 49 lambs at 24s Id; account W. Stringer, 200 lambs at 22s fid. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co, sold: On account Win, Sutherland (Duntroon), 90 f.m, ewes at 2ijs fid; account W. G. McKinnou (Otekaike), 31 lambs at 22s sd, 146 f.m. ewes at 23s 4d. Store Cattle. National Mortgage and Agency Co, fold: On account a client, 7 yearlings at £!, 1 heifer at £4 10s, 4 steers and heifers at fu 19s Gd, 4 heifers at £G 13s, How at'£ss!. Wright, Stephenson and Co, sold: On account .T. Grant, sen., 1 cow at £6, 2 heifers at £G 7s.
