WAIREKA SALEYARDS.

There was a fair attendance and fine* weather at the saleyards yesterday.' Owing to shortage of space, freezing buyers are not operating freely, and the bulk of the fat yarding were sold at prices' lower than usual; Little space was found for lambs, and prices eased from Is 6il to '2s Cd. There was a large yarding of stores, the bulk of it , consisting of failing mouth, ewes in/low condition, with the result that vendors had to accept. low prices, and the market showed a considerable- decline all through, unless anything extra good offered, which about, held its own. Best, two and four-tooth ewes ranged from 34s to 35s Cd, medium two and fourtooth ewes ranged from 29s to 325, sound-mouthed two and four-tooth ewes ranged from 25s to 2Ss9d, full-mouthed • two and four-tooth ewes ranged from 16s to 19s .6(1. ■ New lambs (store) ranged from 20s 2d to. 235. There was only a moderate yarding of cattle, and prices were on a par with those .of last week. Following sales were made:—
