American creamery, 2145; Argentine, 210s. The market is easier, partly ow- ' ing to good supplies of Australian and Danish. Quotations; Danish,, salted 204s to 20Ss; New Zealand, salted 200 to 208s, unsalted 198s to 200s; Australian, salted 190s to 1945, unsalted 190 a to 1945; Argentine, salted 180s to 1945, unsalted 186s to 1945! ' Cheese—The market is inactive owing to short supplies. Canadian 1625, United States flats 160s. Oats—The market is strong, and all stocks are advancing owing to a general active demand. New, Zealand, 555, Peas —The market is firm with an upward tendency.

Very little grain is offering, but there are ready buyers for all that comes forward. Beyond a little inquiry for oafs for local consumption," there is nothing doing in this cereal, as at. present prices, business with the North Island cannot be done in competition with Australian or Southland oats. Some business could be done with oatsheaf chaff for the North Island, but it is impossible to arrange shipping space to Auckland, where the principal demand exists. DUNEWN MARKETS. GBAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT. Dalgety and Co,, Ltd., report as follows: Oats—The market is quiet, and buyers' are only prepared to operate at lower values. The only lines in request are those fit for milling and seed requirements, The bulk ot the oats ottering of late are of medium quality and difficult to place. We quote: Prime milling, 3s Sd to 3s 9d; good to best feed, 3s Sd to 3s 7d; medium to good, 3s 2d to 3s 4d per bushel (sacks extra).

Wheat—Very little milling wheat is offering, Millers are keen buyers of any suitable lines at maximum Government rates, Fowl wheat ( is in very short supply, and readily quitted on arrival at 53 Gd to 5s Sd per bushel, sacks extra, in small quantities for local requirements.
