NGAPARA SCHOOL.
There was a moderate' attendance ot householders at the annual meeting on Monday night.' , Mr Robert White was voted to the chair.
, The .last yea^s.(secretary read the report and balance-sheet.' The" report showed that the playground had been, improved by leVeiling by a working bee of, the committee,, The outhouse's, had" been improted "and 'the roSd fenco repaired. . The school had received a very ereditablo report from the inspector. The balance in hand was £Bl6s 2d. .
MrCaiperpn, moved a. vote of thanks to the outgoing' committee, and this was carriod lieartily.
The new committee were elected as follows: Messrs J. Paterson, J. Newlands, J. Mitchell, W. Falloon, and W, Wright, . These being the only, gentlemen who .accepted nomination, the chairman doclared them elected, Sub-' sequently Mr W, Falloon was elected chairmaii, Mr Paterson secretary and Mr, Wright,..tQrasurer, Messrs Paterson and,Mitchell were appointed,a< visiting committee for the quarter.
