. WELLINGTON, September 7. At the Arbitration Court to-day, William Chappie was awarded £125 compensation against the Union. Steamship Company, on account of injury to. his arm, sustained while assisting to unload coal on the steamer Rakanoa, ' •
Walter Sarslield claimed compensation for injury to his knee by accident, while acting as seaman aboard the Union Company's Karu, at Picton. Judgment was given, for £6O.
