Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, Oamaru, as follows: For North Island, per north express at 2 p.m. daily; and ou Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 2 p,m, Wednesday, Gtli Soptember. For Australian 'States (due in .Sydney on lllh September), South Africa, Mauritius, Ceylon (due in Colombo on 28th September), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Mediterranean ports, United Kingdom and Europe (due in London on 18th October), per north express at 1 p.m. (connecting with the Bivoriiia at Wellington). Correspondence for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed "Via Suez," For Australian States, South Africa, and Expeditionary Forces (parcels and newspapers only), per north express at 1 p.m. C.HILL,.
