Meeting of The North Otago Farmers' Cooperative Association, Limited, will be held on SATURDAY, the 16th September, 1916,. in the Druids' Hall, Kibble street, Oamaru, at the close of the Annual Meeting convened above for the same day and place at I.HO p.m., to consider,and, if thought lit, to pass with or without modification Ihe following special resolution:— That the provisions of the Association's Memorandum Of Association with respect to its objects be altered by adding at the end of sub-clause G of Clause 3 thereof the words following. "And to take or otherwise acquire, hold and' dispose of shares, stock,* or debentures in any other limited company having objects altogether or in any part similar to those of (his Association or carrying on any business capable of being conducted so as to directly or indirectly benefit this Association. AND to enter into partnership or into any-ar-rangement for sharing profits, union of interests, reciprocal concession or otherwise with any person or limited l company carrying on or engaged in or about to carry on or engage in any business or transaction which this association is authorised to carry on or engage in, or any business or ■ transaction capable of being conducted as to directly or indirectly so benefit this Association."
