Tho Government has received word of the safe arrival at Copenhagen of Captain I'itzllugli Green, the American naval officer ou the Crocker Land expedition, which left in 191)1. Captain Green's report makes no reference to the existence of Crocker Land, which Admiral Peary, (the American who claimed to have discovered the North Pole) believed he had discovered, The report does not mention whether McMillan and the.others of the party are with Captain Green. The party was several time's threatened with starvation. Received August 24,* 6.0 p.m. WASHINGTON, August In consequence of Captain Fitfflugh Green's report not'continuing the discovery of Crocker Laud, a section of Congress is urging an investigation' of Admiral Peary's claims.
