PROPOSED DOMINION AWARD, (Per I'rcss Association,) ; CHBISTCIIUBCII, August 22. The Coachmakers and Workers' Industrial. Union met- I lie employers at tlie-Coneiliation■Council'last night, and framed a Dominion award. The principal elauses are as follow:—Forty-seven hours a week, l'roni 7.30 a.m. t0'5,110 p.m., on live days, •and 7,30 a.m. to noon on one day. Wagos: Jouriicymo.n' coaehmakers, 1/0 per. hour; .overtime at the rate of one and a quarter ordinary t-imc for the first three hours, one and a half rates afterwards and double time for Sunday, Christmas Day, and Good Friday.. Wages of apprentices: First year, 8/- per week; second year, 12/0; third year, 37/U; fourth year, £1 o/-; iifth year, £1 15/-, One apprentice to every, two .journeymen or fraction thereof, and one helper lo each department, except in the smith shop, where one helper is allowed to each Jire. Helpers' wages, from 10/- per week between fifteen to sixteen years of age, to 1/- per hour for helpers over twenty-one years of age,
