In the only properly arranged Trial of Digging Ploughs that hau yet been held in the colony. The awards were : First, a Silver Medal, and a second prize in money. The 70 were won by tho Howard machines, boating the tlcid and Gray, the other competitor, easily, in f.ici> of tho strong feeling in favor of the colonial manufacture. — [Anvr.]
