The cricket match, Now Sonth Wales v. Auckland, was commenced to-day at the Domain cricket ground before a urge attendance of the public. Mevr South Wales won the toss, and went first to the wickets, and succeeded in putting together 169 for some good play. Auckland, in their first innings, faced the bowling of Newell, who took 3 wicketi for 30 runs, the other two, being not out when time was called. The following are the scores : |
