SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Tlio Postmaster-Gonoral has rccoived information that a steamer has arri\ ed at Bangoawangie, with a section of tho duplioato cable to be laid between that place and Port Darwin. The Irish Reliof Committee havo roceivod L 2163. An additional subscription of Ll5OO was received from Archbishop Goold, including his own donation of L5OO. Several subscriptions of 100 guineas have been received, and the committoo hope to remit L5OOO to the Loid Mayor of Dublin on Friday. Meetings in aid of tho fund are being held all over tho country, and large sums collected.
