MUNICIPALITY OF OAMARU.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under the powers conferred on the Municipal Council of Oamaru under and by virtue of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," Section 179, the said Council has caused a Survey to be made of the parcel of Land, a description of which is given in the Schedule hereto, and a plan thereof prepared in accordance with the twenty-first section of "The Public Works Act, 1876," by the said first-recited Act made to apply, which plan has been deposited at the office of the Munioipal Engineer, Thames street, Oamaru, for inspection, as provided for by the said twenty-first section of " The Public Works Act, 1876," and that the nature of the work proposed to be executed on the •aid land is the FORMATION of a ROADLINE for public use. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all persons affected by the taking of the said parcel of land, or by the formation of the said road, are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any or all well grounded objections to the taking of Che said parcel of land, or to the formation of the said road, and to ' send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Municipal Council of Oamaru aferesaid, whose office is in Thjunep street, Oamaru, Provincial District of Ofcgo.

SCHEDULE : All that parcel of land being part of Municipal Reserve D, Town of Oamaru, and being 100 links wide, and bounded on the north side by a line from a point on the western side of Wye street lane, as shewn on the Survey Map of the Town of Oamaru, at which the northern boundary of Chelmer street produced westerly intersects the eastern boundary of' Reserve D, to a point on the eastern side of the West town belt road nearly in a line with the northern boundary of the District road to Ardgowan, and on the south by a line parallel to the first described line, and 100 liuk* distant therefrom, as the said parcel of land is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited as aforementioned.
