STRANDING OF THE SCHOONER PELICAN.
A press telegram received on Saturday morning, stated that the Pelican, coal laden, fro in Grey month to Foxtonj was ashore at the mouth of the MannWatu River, and that ■he was likely to be got off. Mr H. Aitken, the owner of the vessel, also received a telegram the same day from Capt. Munro, •tatin<* the locality to be the north head of tho river. A telegram, received last night, xv]>eat3 the assurance that she is likely to be got off. The Pelican is insured for L5OO in e^-h of- the following offices — National, Standard, and National of South Australia
