I am very glad to he able asain to chronicle uninterrupted good weather, nnce writing last month. What rain has fallen has heen the means of advancing the crop* very materially. Even the late crops of oat*, which a month ago looked of a pickly yellow blue are now chansred t'> a ri' p h green, and are eominjj forward rapidly. The winter sown crop? will be linbteft in straw, although generally *uming out good samples of grain, and well filled. The farmers in this district this year are growing a great extent of turnips f.>r winter feeding she'-p, as those who di I so la«t season hit upon very good markets towards the latt< r part of the season. I almost forgot to mention the exhibits lrotn the pottery works of crockeryvrare. They were really excellent, and the large onh-is they are receiving from the North is a proof that they are of bettrr quality, and alsi more appreciated than they were formerly.
