The Ploughing Match in connection with the Northern Pastoral ami Agricultural Association h.is been fixed to come off on the 18th inst. A Committee has been appointed to mnke all the necessary arrangements, and tbe rules to be observed will have a place in our next issiw. The Committee of the above Association, at a meeting held in the Northern Hotel, on Saturday last, decided on the Pro<»ramrae for the next Show, which will take place iu October. The prize list hai not hren materially altered from that of last year ; the chief difference being in appointing a greater number of awards for lonijwoolled sheep. The programme will appear at an early date. In last issue we mentioned the sale, by M. GleeRon, Esq., of his half share in the run of Messrs Holmes and Gleeson, at Moeraki, to Mr Holmes. The price, we understand, is L15.000. Thnre are 11,000 sheep on the run, *nd 7.000 acre« freehold.
