Caught on Beach
TRUCK AND LOAD LOST On Tuesday nfrerr.oon, Mr. J. Waitai, a cartage contractor of Te Kao, was proceeding up the beach with a load of furniture for Te Hapua. When near the B> .f his truck sank in the sand and all his efforts to get it out in time to beat the fast rising tide, was unavailing. It is reported that the truck and the load of furniture was completely lost.
