Personal Mr. M. Berghan spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Berghan of Mangonui. Miss Kay Blyth is on her annual leave now. Mr. Thomas has returned home avter spending the week in Auckland. Mrs. Syd Vogan and family are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rayner. Mrs. R. Wrathall and Beryl have returned home after spending a few days in Ruawai. Miss Una Panther is staying with her grandfather, Mr. J. Edwards. Guests at the Old Oak are Mr. and Mrs. L. McDonald, Dr. and Mrs. Hardy Neale of Auckland. On Sunday last a fishing trip went out on the boat called the “Hazel, i Mr. Thompson caught a swordfish, the secctnd one caught this year. Its weight was 285 lbs.
